Axtrom Axpad Review

Today we're reviewing the Axtrom Axpad V1.

Axpad is the newest innovation of Axtrom technologies, the well known brand for manufacturing Nvidia Geforce desktop GPUs.

Axtrom Axpad 7i01 has the highest specifications in it's price range.
Axpad is the best affordable tablet that you can get.

Let's go into the details:

Design:

The tablet's face is basically nothing but a screen and a 1.3 megapixels camera — the display even blends nicely into the bezel.
It comes with two different color choices for the backside, white and black. The backside is of glossy plastic that doesn't attract fingerprints, with curved edges.
The axpad weight is ideal for everyday use, it fits easily in one hand and won't weigh down your bag.

Touchscreen:

Axpad 7" screen is 5 point capacitive touchscreen of 800X480 resolution with acceptable viewing angles.It's very comfortable as an eReader in both portrait and landscape modes.

Processor:

Axpad sports an ARM Cortex A9  processor clocked at 1.5 GHz, with 1 Gb of rams.
These specifications made our experience with the axtrom smooth as it should be.

GPU:

 Axtrom Axpad sports the famous Mali-400 dual core GPU, which makes the Axpad capable of running most resource hungry games games of the play store.

 

System and User interface:

Axpad is flavored with Android ice cream sandwich 4.0 with a touch of Axtrom's customizations, and the screenshot function is built into the software.

Video viewing on the Axpad is a charm, with resolution up to Full HD 1080p, you can watch videos stored on internal memory, SD card, or a USB Flash drive.

Axtrom Axpad supports Wifi Media sharing with Windows Media Server.

Google play store is preinstalled on the tablet, and you can also use the File Browser app to navigate through the local storage and install apks directly.

Axtrom MD300 USB Modem is bundled in the Axpad package, you can connect it through the standard USB port or the OTG cable.
It connects to 3G networks in plug and play fashion.

Axpad can operate as Wifi Hotspot for more than one device.

Presence of a Standard USB port makes it extremely easy to plug and play 3G modems, USB Flash drives or even a USB Mouse.

Battery:

Axpad comes with a 3000mAh non-removable Li-ion battery, which gave us 4 hours of video
